Mission Hills - Hidden Parks - Local Spots

Looking for a quiet hiking trail or scenic picnic spot unknown to tourists? Presidio Park near Mission Hills is it. Situated on the hills overlooking Old Town, Presidio Park offers sweeping views of the city and Pacific Ocean. The park encompasses around 40 acres and is an important site in early San Diego history. This location was the original home to the Mission San Diego de Alcala from which Mission Hills gets its name. No historical structures remain today, but old tombstones can still be found that date back more than a hundred years. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees, Presidio park remains a popular spot to take photos. Kids and furry family members welcome! You never know what you might find in Mission Hills. Read more on The INDRA Group blog.
