The San Diego County Fair - A Great Place to be for Fireworks on July 4th

If you live in or near San Diego one event you don't want to miss is the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. The Fair runs annually in June through July 4th weekend and is a great place for family fun including rides, games, concerts and every kind of fried food you can imagine! 

If you want to avoid parking with the masses there are lots of options for free parking and easy public transportation. Check here for info on offsite lots at Mira Costa College, the Horsepark in Del Mar, and Torrey Pines High School. Our favorite options, the Coaster, also has a Fair discount!

The Fair continues through Sunday, July 6 (closed on Mondays), celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' first visit to the United States, sparking the British Invasion in music and pop culture, influencing even today's musicians.

This report shows the real estate activity of the real market action index in Del Mar. The below graph shows us how the market is trending, with under  30 representing a buyer's market, and over 30 representing a seller's market. This graph indicates a steady trend in the sellers market. You can see how the market has been sloping downwards since July 07, but since Jan 09 the market looks pretty steady. 

Supply and demand of housing inventory: there is more supply on the market, compared to sales, although sale prices are moving higher. This can indicate the difference of new homes that are younger, larger, or perhaps with more acreage.
